It has NOTHING to do with image, it has to do with the fact that your talking about players that don't have the basic cornerstones of common sense and smart decision making.
Dude was STABBED for gots sake and is already facing a suspension and he's not smart enough to just STHU and get thru airport security...
Getting stabbed was his fault?
Oh course it wasn't, as is policy to some of you guys, it's NEVER the players fault....
No it can be the players fault, but some of us would rather retain our judgement until after an investigation has been done rather then crucifying him based off of a tmz report.
So, basically saying that a guy that is already facing a league suspension and should be smart enough to keep his nose clean during the offseason and manage to get through airport security without incident and not saying the word bomb classifies as "crucification"???
No but the constant calling for him be cut as an example does. Especially not knowing the entire story, being the details of any sort of investigation have not been released, only reports from a gossip site.
According to Los Angeles police public information officer Karla Ortiz, the incident happened as the man later identified as Smith was going through Terminal 1 screening and was randomly selected for secondary screening.
Smith then became belligerent and uncooperative with the process and with the TSA agent, making a comment indicating that he was in possession of a
bomb before proceeding toward the gate area, according to Ortiz.

He seems like a good guy. Not mature in the sense that he let someone walk all over him.
Plus I said the "average" Stanford athlete. Anyone can pick out exceptions in any group. The fact remains the same, Stanford athletes are far more mature than NFL players. That should be pretty obvious.

Oh, ok, cool you must be referencing someone else then, because I haven't constantly been saying cut him. I have said that he's obviously got some kind of mental issue that doesn't allow him to operate on a normal level with social acceptance.
But yeah, the franchise might have no choice but to cut a player that just can't focus on his own well being, his teams well being and his franchises well being....

So they "randomly selected" him for secondary screening.
Im guessing Aldon got annoyed and sarcastically said "Ya, I have bomb guys!" then things escalated and he got arrested.
Basically Aldon is an immature idiot
