Rams waived DE George Selvie.
Selvie was considered a potential first-round pick early in his South Florida career, only to get lost behind Jason Pierre-Paul by his senior season. He could still develop into a situational pass rusher, but is out of practice squad options after appearing in 16 games during his rookie year.

Didn't coach whats his name on the defensive staff coach him in college?

AlbertBreer: Just asking around with a couple clubs, I think the ceiling for what Meriweather would've brought in a trade was a fourth-round pick.

AlbertBreer: ... And, re: Meriweather, trying to trade a player on cutdown day is tough, since clubs know that said player could be released hours later.

I'm shocked Meriweather got cut. How do you make 2 Pro Bowls in four years and get cut? Guess they're loaded at S...

Someone will claim him. Either us, or Dallas possibly, among many others.
