Had a horrible year last year. If the Saints are cutting him it's because they don't think he can play anymore.
I'd still sign him as a backup though. Staley has health concerns of his own, and if he goes down we could put Davis back at his natural position. Stinchcomb really is a RT and that's it.

Stinchcomb if he can pass a a full medical would be great and a must look. If Culpepper is getting a look so should Stinchcomb. Even McKinney anyone who would help the right side of the OL. Davis is a long ways from being a starter. Rachal is a disaster waiting to happen imo. Baalke and JH need to make a real shift to a FA or give Boone some serious reps.

I concur, I would sign Sims to a two year contract. You need two back up tackles.
