With my enthusiasm extinguished the last few days I'm not going to get too excited again, but Goodwin was my first choice once Baas jumped ship. He doesn't give up sacks and I think will be better than Baas for us this year.

Not to be a negative Nancy but if he is visiting with us while we happen to be practicing why would he not check out the team.

the saints oline was excellent and this is a top 5 center in the nfl. He is worlds better than baas and better than kreutz, This would be a starter for 3-5 years.

Can any of you provide an objective comparison between his play and that of Baas' last year? I know Goodwin was a probowler a couple years back. How much has his play regressed since then?
