So the next question is whether A. Samuel is heading to the Jets.

And to a contender too! Good for him.... Bad for us.

This is the best news I've heard since the lockout ended. Screw'd the Cowgirls and pompus Jets at the same time. Nnamdi goes to a contender and I've always respected the Eagles.

Glad they have him instead of the Jets or Cowboys. I love how Andy Reid runs that team.

the Niners couldnt do 12 mil a year with 25 guaranteed???
Maybe it wasn't about money, Bro.
its always about money. players talk about how they want to win, and play somewhere they like, etc. but its about the money. if the 49ers offered 14 mil and 28 guaranteed, hed be a Niner right now. no question in my mind.
No, it's not always about money. Players turn down more lucrative contracts all the time to play elsewhere. Sure, it's not the norm, but it does happen.
FYI, word was the Jets were offering at least $12 mil a year, so it's entirely possible that Nnamdi (gasp) didn't want to play them and/or us. Not that I expect that little nugget of info to stop the "OMG THIS OUR FRONT OFFICE'S FAULT!!!!111" train.
Carry on.

That is it? We couldn't match that.
Its not that, its that we are not the caliber team the Eagles are.

Basically meaning he's probably speculating because aside from his so-called "source" (the same source that assured him and everyone else Nnamdi was going to be a Jet), he doesn't know what Aso's intentions were anymore than you or me.

Well, he won't be coming to us if the last couple of days is any indication.
