Ya, that hurts us now. So we don't get Nnamdi and he doesn't go to the Jets. Double whammy. We need a CB big time. If the 49ers don't pick one up I won't know what to think.

Are you guys seriously listening to any of these guys? They dont know s**t, the Eagles weren't even on the radar. Lombardi, Sheffert, Lockyourmamma should all be fired.

If I were Cromartie I wouldn't go back to the Jets. They obviously wanted Aso more and Revis even said that him and Aso would be the best duo in the NFL.

If the Niners don't sign this guy, consider it evidence that the Niners are going after Andrew Luck

When has Harbaugh ever stated character was a trait he was concerned about. He isn't Nolan.....

Sign Rashard Marshall, Goldson, and maybe bring back Clements and the secondary will definately be better than last year. Even if they only get Marshall they should be better than last year.

If you didn't catch many Jets games last season, you missed what Cromartie is capable of. They often matched him up with the top WR. The Jets felt more comfortable having him cover speedy WRs than Revis.
Across the NFL, there's only a couple players that have him all-around talent. He's fast, physical, a playmaker, and excellent again the deep ball. After Nmamdi, this is the guy we need.

Cromartie is an ass clown. English is a 3rd or 4th language, he has like 6 or 7 kids with 6 or 7 different women. He is not what you would call a class act.
Beyond the character flaws, the guy just does not like to tackle.
I think rather than hopelessly pursue Namdi, like some bucktoothed doofus chasing the prom queen, they should have made Joseph their top priority. I realize Namdi would have energized the base but I think the 49ers were out of their league and they should have known it.
Now they are left considering Crowmartie. Baalke can't seriously consider giving him 50 million for 5 years, could he.. I hope not.
I would rather they pursued Marshall or Carr.

ClaytonESPN: Looks as though there might not be a quick deal for Antonio Cromartie even after Nnamdi got his deal with the Eagles.
