every team in nfc west improves.......except niners

How many times are you going to make the same thread complaining that we haven't signed anyone?

Every off season there are two groups:

A) Our off season is a relative joke and we didn't accomplish much

B) We have a master plan and it will all work out. "It's only the x day." Or "insert some lame Redskins reference."

Sad thing is Group A tends to be correct. Our best record since 2003 has been 8-8. Obviously we aren't doing something right.

Frankly, I'd over pay 4 or 5 FAs if that means we actually have a play off season. Not saying we have to pay 10 mil/year to everyone but again...teams over pay. It is what it is. We can sit here and b***h about it or actually sign some free agents and win some games.
If you look at our roster right now. You can honestly say we will finish in last place.

we improved our coaching staff...which, according to most on this board, was the only thing keeping out us out of the playoffs last year.

yeah but we are losing too many players

Nedney, Baas, TKO.

Franklin, Lawson are Polly gone too

But don't worry we have Akers and a bunch of UDFAs

This has to be one of the worst off seasons to date.

I do not see where any NFC West teams have "gotten better"

Rams really haven't lost too much, but they haven't signed anybody that would change the dynamics of that team. Josh McDaniels will be implementing a new system, and I'm still not sold that Sam Bradford will be able to take that next step and become a solid NFL QB. The Rams may be the best off, but definetely not scary.

Arizona has gotten worse IMO, they lost their best defensive player, and their number 2 WR. I know we have complained a lot but we haven't made the dumb moves they have. The only way this team succeeds is if Kolb is the Second Coming of Kurt Warner and plays to his potential, which do not think will happen. Arizona is not much of a threat

Seattle has got a good WR in Rice, but who is going to be throwing him the ball? They got rid of the only guy I feared to face in Matt Hasselbeck. Now they have Tavaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst....I think I would rather have Alex Smith. Once again this team has not signed anyone that is going to come in and make this 7-9 team a few wins better automatically.

Now, I know that there are still a lot of unsigned FAs, and you never know who is going to step up and have a great season. But IMO the NFC West is still going to be weak and it will be anyone's division to win, whoever is the best of the worst.
it looks like this division is really going to turn it around in the next couple of years.............and we will be exactly where we have been in the last many

Calm down. If the players we lost were so great y did our defense suck????

Defense didn't suck
In all reality I would have probably traded all those things for a reliable QB but at least we got a 2nd rounder to step in when the wheels fall off....
