Floyd averaged almost 20 yards per catch last year. He played in 11 games with 9 starts.

Stats:
Receptions: 37
Receiving yards: 717
Yards per game: 65.2 YPG.
Yards per catch: 19.4

If you project his stats out of a full 16 games.. you get the following:

54 catches for 1042 yards and 10 TDs.

People keep saying this... It doesn't matter who his QB was. Guy still had to get open and make plays. Most QB's will get you the ball if you can do that. Just because Rivers is great doesn't mean that some other QB wouldn't be able to get the ball to Floyd.

Gates and Vince Jackson were primary targets before Floyd.

We HAVE TO spend the money... but the 49ers front office has consistently assigned what they think is a fair value to a player, and they are stubborn about exceeding that amount. I think they will get a C, a CB, a S (maybe Goldson?), and a WR. I won't pretend to know who they want the most, but I would go Kruetz (love that nastiness) Marshall, Goldson, and Floyd.
