I like Marshall but he's not gonna be much of upgrade over Nate. But he is younger and cheaper. Just like Carlos Rodgers. Younger and cheaper but not really from a on the field standpoint much better than Nate. They definitely need a plan B and C if Nnamdi falls through. And it appears the Jets are still in the lead.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the 49ers are one of the teams showing interest in free agent Johnathan Joseph.
The Free Press lists the Lions, Texans, and Bengals as being in pursuit as well. This is notable because the 49ers had not been connected to Joseph previously, and recent word broke that the Texans have pulled into the lead for Nnamdi Asomugha. The Niners were known to be pursuing Asomugha. It's possible they've pegged Joseph as a fall-back option if Asomugha goes to Houston.
