disagree, yes he played, but he disrupted each locker room.
He made life hell in SF, PHI and DAL. Calling out each QB. Guy IMO is a locker room cancer.
Don't want him anywhere near our locker room.
He did, in 2008, simply said he never got the ball and romo favored throwing to Witten

Didn't he go so far as to say the two had "secret plays" to get the ball to Witten rather than him?

Right because when an NFL team is interested in a player the last thing that's important to them is to see them work out in person. I'm surprised Rosenhaus even invited... the entire league to be there. He should just mail them all a DVD and call it good.

This is almost Barry Bondsian.
It took Bonds a good year before he figured out nobody wanted him back in Major League Baseball.
T.O. seems to think that he has teams frothing at the mouth to get him. He doesn't seem to understand that his skillz have declined. He is not the receiver he once was.
And his rep. is just KILLING HIM.
One day, he will get it. Not now. Maybe next year. Maybe the year after that.

what else do you expect him to do? just call it a day and be done with football and do what...? if he still feels he can play, he can do whatever he feels like. if no one signs him, whatever. can't blame the guy for trying to get work.

I wonder if he came out and straight up admited that he put himself in this situation because of his past actions and that he hopes he knows it really isnt performance related - and that he prayed he'd get one more chance so he could finish on a positive note (not as T.O) - would he have more of a chance?
Dont tell me this guy isnt good enough of a player to be on an NFL team, that would be a rediculous statement period. Even if he needed a few more weeks to get to top shape and gel with a team, that would set him to peak when teams start needing him the most - before the post season.
He's not your #1 receiver, you're not looking to build an offense around him or change your game plan for him. He's going to compliment whatever you are doing - passing game, run game....he's going to set the tone in practice and on game day and he's going to make the team better.
Terrell Owens should be on an NFL football team

I agree with this. I don't care for T.O. but I've always thought it was stupid for fans to scream "it's time to hang em up" "he just can't admit it to himself" "he's ruining his legacy" That's a bunch of crap. If a player loves to play and wants to keep doing it until he can't make a team then let him. When Jerry Rice was TOs age lots of people on this board said the same kind of stuff and I felt it was total crap, so I really cant say otherwise now can I? In Rice's case he went to the Raiders and for the next few years proved the nay sayers wrong. Then of course there was his cameo in Seattle and his try out in Denver.
Some key differences between Rice and TO at this stage in their careers though:
Rice wasn't coming off a torn ACL
Rice hadn't just O.D.ed for the second time.
Most importantly, the three teams Rice went to after the 9ers all had Head Coaches who had worked with, admired, and respected him. When Rice told them he had something left they had no problem giving him a chance to prove it. T.O. not only doesn't have that degree of respect around the league, many who have worked with him would probably consider him to be an albatross.

I'd be interested to see the production he could offer in the Arena League but really don't think he's ready to go there... some team would benefit from his talents, I would sign him for the rest of the season, someone will
