This. And what I know about TO is that he always shows up on the field. TO could help us win a Super Bowl. Anyone who hates on TO needs to question what is more important to them; what a player produces on the field, or what attention he receives in the media for other activities.

no one can argue with his numbers: 900 yards and 7 tds in fourteen games last year! We won't have a WR do that in 16 games this year.

I don't know if we'll have a receiver play 16 games this year.

If we were in a rebuilding year I would say skip it but we ARE going to the playoffs this year and we need all the proven firepower we can get. As much as I like k. Williams and think he has a future, I think TO brings much more to the table now...while we need it. Ginn can go to full time kr/pr and situational plays.

Antics? I think those passed about 3 years ago. Attitude? Yes but I think it would be a positive for this team...arguably his confidence is worth as much to this offense as his skills, could be whats missing?

Worst case scenario...he gets attitude with Alex and we yank him, release him. Positives are countless - low risk/ high potential reward. TO shows up in big games...we may be seeing some of those sooner than later.

He needs us, we don't NEED him. He knows that. But we sure could use him.

TO has his work out today. Lets see what teams show up to see how his knee is rehabbed. Supposedly he is in great shape. I wonder if the 49ers will send a representative.

Harbaugh is unaware if anybody from the scouting department will be there ..which leads me to believe we wont be taking a look at him

Drew Rosenhaus tells me it's possible there won't be any scouts here to watch TO in person today - says they really don't know who is coming or not. Rosenhaus betting that Owens will do well enough that workout will generate buzz and teams become more interested. And of course, he'll be sending all 32 teams the tape

Its suppose to be live on NFL Network, can someone give an update on how it turns out please ..

the update just by watching him. he is out of shape he does one drill and stops and breathes heavly with his hands on hips.
