I have a good feeling that they'll sign two veteran corners that will give Nate and Shawntae a run for their money.
This group is much better than last year's, and the last several years! Teams don't usually let a player like Nnamdi walk away, and Joseph is fantastic as well. Cromartie and Ike Taylor are both very good. This is the reason I said if we couldn't draft Patrick Peterson, then our best option was to draft pass rusher and go hard after some FA CB's!

If Nnamdi isn't a possibility I'd take a look at Richard Marshall.
I also remember reading Aqib Talib might be getting cut when the lockouts over. He's talented

I'd rather see the 49ers go into free agency for CBs specifically Nnamdi or taylor because I don't want to rely on next year's draft to fix the secondary.

Marshall would be my call as well. Talib is going to prison (sooner or later), so scratch him off the list.

J. Joseph would be a perfect fit, Ike Taylor would be my second choice

If the CBA gets done I'm going to be pumped that we could sign a guy like Joseph or Cromartie.

This is the one position that I think the Niners will bring in someone from another team. The rest of their FAs will be re-signings.
Here's my order:
1. Asomugha, Elite (~5% - not a contender, but easy relocation)
2. Joseph, Really Good (~5% - not a contender)
3. Rodgers, Really Good (~5% - not a contender, but off year might reduce his value)
4. Marshall, Good (~10% - would have to overpay)
5. Taylor, Good (~10% - see Marshall)
6. Grimes, Good (~10% - See Marshall)
7. Cromartie, Good (~20% - character issues might lessen his payday)
Overall, the chance that we sign one of these guys... ~25%. Which means that most likely, we wont get a new starting CB in FA.

I would say the chance we get one of those guys is atleast 60%, I'm just not sure which one. I would have Grimes and Cromartie above Marshall and Taylor. I would have Cromartie over Rodgers. This is my order:
1. Nammdi
2. Joseph
3. Cromartie
4. Rogers
5. Grimes
6. Marshall
7. Taylor

Cromartie is an enigma. If he plays like he did in 2007 or 2008 then he would be considered one of the best CB period, not only in FA. I just question his mental makeup. He's definitely the biggest boom/bust player on the list.

I agree that we get a new CB, with the new CBA proposal on spending. This would be the year to do it, too, since everyone is learning a new system. I disagree that Cromartie would be a good pickup. Dude is a crazy person, like finger painting with his feces crazy. I'd go Grimes over Taylor, but otherwise leave NinerBuff's list alone.

I do not think that Clements will redo his contract.
He is due to make too much money.
If he does not sign for less money, the team will have to cut him.
We need to sign a free agent corner.
My options are:
1. Nammdi
2. Nammdi
3. Joseph
4. Marshall
5. Taylor

Forgive because I'm bored, but if we were to say your percentages were correct then we could find the probability of signing at least one CB by taking 1- compliment of not signing any of them.
Hence if the p(sign=.05) then p(not sign = .95) if we assume the signings are independent we can say the (probability of signing 1 or more) p(signing>=1) = 1- P(nobody signing). therefore we can multiple the probability of each person not signing like so (.95*.95*.95*.9*.9*.8) = .500002 :: this is the probability that nobody signs which means the probably of all the other possibilities combined must equal 1-.5 = .5.
In conclusion, if we use your imaginary numbers then the probability of us singing one of those players is 50%
... sorry
