I'd rather keep Laboy over Parys Haralson. Dahl would be a good signing but I doubt the FO pulls the trigger. I think there is a high chance that Heitmann returns and it pushes Baas back to guard.

I highly doubt we'll have 2 rookies as our 2nd and 3rd stringer.
especially with Alex Smith as your starter. he's been known to miss a few beats.

How about Ike Taylor (FA, Pittsburgh) rather than re-signing Clements?

Sorry fellas, but any FA period without the signing of legit vet reciever is a fail in my book. I just dont think we are deep enought. Our biggest threat not named Davis is a questionable starter at best (Crabtree). Morgan is really a 3rd or 4th option. Ginn is unreliable and the rest of the guys are just that, a bunch of guys.

From our own, I think our priorities are:
1. Alex Smith (obviously reasons)
2. Ray McDonald: Franklin is going to be very tough to resign because he's chasing his final contract and he wants to get paid. He'll follow the money. With that in mind, Sopoaga will likely slide inside, leaving a gaping whole at DE. Ray gets off the LOS as fast as anyone and I think he'll see a noticeable increase in sacks in Fangio's more aggressive defense.
3. David Baas: He's good enough to start at either OC or OG. Harbaugh has no loyalties to Rachal, so he'll be on a short leash. We drafted for interior depth, but we need someone ready to play if Heitmann or Rachal cant go.

No offense, sir. But why do you always feel the need to defend Alex Smith from every poster that takes a shot at him? Honestly, why do you care so much?

Yeah, I get that. I just think they would go away if we didn't respond to them. Wishful thinking???
