I hope so
Scenarios: Kolb to SEA, Bulger to AZ, Smith resigns
Outcome: We have the worst starting QB in the worst division in football.

Bottom line: We cant allow this to happen.

Id be down with this. Then we would have the 2nd worst starting QB in the worst division in football.

Bulger? The guy hasn't had a QB rating over 71 since 2006! His TD to Ints over three years? 27-34!

Might be past his prime.

True, but now you are back to the age old question: Would you rather have someone who is past his prime or someone who has never been good?

All depends on your answer to that question.

Potential versus "I remember the day when I could lift my arm above my head." Thank you Mr. Bulger, now eat your pudding.
He was great years ago but needs a good o-line. I think the last 2 years that he has had to not play and rest his body from the beating he took the last 2 years with the Rams will only help. Worth the risk seeing that he won't break the bank.
I think we will offer Bulger a back up money type of deal.
as u guys know i support a smith. but i have watched alot of rams games and have always like what i saw in bulger. when he lost his team it wasnt all him. his owner pulled an a smith on him and when they rebuildt he said f it. i could see him being an eleite qb in sf.

Why are we so interested in the Ravens' backup QBs? Troy Smith, now Bulger.
Anyway, I could see Bulger as our #2 and even give Alex Smith hell in training camp(if there is one).

Bulger to AZ makes a lot of sense. He followed in Kurt Warner's footsteps once before maybe he can do it again. Or he could flame out and the Cardinals can continue to be the definition of suck. I vote for the latter

Doubtful. Our depth chart will be:

1. Smith
2. Kaepernick
3. Carr, UFA, or trade for Josh Johnson if they will give him up for a 5th or 6th rounder

Yeah a F/A for sure. With the new rules, there will be a plethora of solid QBs available.
