This is more important than anything to the niners. Right now even with alex smith we have the most talent and are the best team in our division on offense And defense.
With kolb palmer and mcnabb out there its going to be a lot harder to win the division with any of these qbs going to sea and ariz. Yes sea and ariz are horrible on d but if ariz gets any one of those qbs fitz and breaston and company are going to be a challenge again. Sea has hasslebeck but when he is done this year or the next....say if they get mcnabb or kolb or palmer we are going to have trouble beating them....especially at their home where we always struggle.
If ariz or sea get one of these qbs we are in some trouble although with a new offensive coach who is actually smart and our good d led by willis we should still win the division. This would make it all the more harder.
As far as the rams go.....bradford may become a good qb although he was rated behind smith and hasslebeck with a better ol and the shortest passing game i have seen in at least 20 years......im not worried about the rams. People seem to forget they just lost their best player on d and lond is their only player worth mentioning. Their offense has not one playmaker and their secondary has to be among the worst in the league now maybe the worst with their fs leaving. And yes jackson is a good rb but by no means a playmaker just a solid workhorse.
Just wanted to see what you thought about who may be getting what qbs and what are the niners chances if they do?
That is what everybody said last year. Alex Smith won't get it done. I dont care who the coach is; if you are not accurate, you will not succeed.
You should care because the new coach is Jim Harbaugh who has proven thus far he can develop QB's.Whichever QB he & Balke decide on,us fans should have some confidence he will know what he's doing
He's never developed an already-broken QB. Alex is already damaged goods. You can blame that on previous coaches or schemes or whatever. In the end, the only thing that matters is he's battered mentally.
knock knock,anybody home???
Well let's see.. You respond to someone who was talking about ALEX SMITH in his post, and you're gonna sit there and act like he is not included in "whichever QB?"
Please.
I am challenging your statement by saying it's unlikely Alex Smith can be fixed by Harbaugh, therefor your "whichever QB" statement is what's under fire. In other words, I agree with the previous poster who said he doesn't care who the coach is because ALEX SMITH cannot get it done.
Let me break it down further so you get it. You act like Harbaugh can fix any QB. I'm saying he can't fix Alex, therefor he cannot fix "whichever QB" they decide on. Get it? Let me know if you need further assistance.
It's funny that YOU fail to realize what's being said, but you have the nerve to ask ME if anybody's home? Ironic.
