Mike Sims-Walker Cut

Sims Walker and Talib are two guys we need to be looking at once FA opens up. we need playmakers. sims has a lot of potential and so does Talib. we have the locker room and coaches to deal with character issues i think. harbaugh doesnt take s**t and we have some very good leaders on this team. this guy opposite crabtree would be awesome. VD and Gore would be getting off too because we'd have a legit deep threat and a crazy mastermind to get everyone involved.

I find it funny that the Jaguars opted to keep Jason Hill over Sims-Walker! Did we miss on Jason Hill?

Only player we miss-managed more than Jason Hill was Alex. Every time he was on the field he produced yet he never got an opportunity.

22.5 yards per catch on 11 grabs in 6 games? I think it's a long shot he even becomes a starter! Sims-Walker, Mike Thomas, Mercedes Lewis, MJD > JHill was bound to be open!

Id take Hill over Sims-Walker. Id actually play the guy though, something our previous coaches didnt do.
He only played in 6 games last year and only averaged 2 less yards a game than Morgan did. He also had more yards and catches over 20 yards than our "deep threat" Ginn despite playing in 7 less games.

He could turn out to be a Brandon Lloyd part two for all we know but I was never sold on the guy other then the SF relation. Sims-Walker is clearly the superior receiver, albeit the more expensive option. Also s**ts on the Cardinals for a living

Yup he's still out there. Would be a nice pickup for us in IMO. He's only 26, has great size (6'2" 214), athletic, and still has some upside. Not sure why the Jags wanted to get rid of him. Does he have an attitude problem?
Can't be any worse than Crabtree. And who knows how long Crabpuss will be out. May as well get a guy like this.
I'd like to see us sign two decent FA WRs.

Preferably one guy with size, like Sims-Walker, Floyd, or James Jones.

And then I'd also like Steve Smith (from NYG), who isn't as dynamic, but will always get open for a first down.
