He did well the year before last. He lost a lot of playing time last year when they to the 3-4. He just didn't fit the system.

Exactly he is strictly a 4-3 End. He cant play OLB in a 3-4 and is too small to play DE in a 3-4. He just doesn't fit the system. Thats why we cut him.

I think you might be right. He wasn't re-signed because he didn't fit the system. I remember Nolan didn't want him because he couldn't drop back into coverage at OLB in the 3-4.

If he came back on the cheap, he could be an effective Situational pass rusher out of the 3-4 and a edge rusher in our Dime & Nickel packages

Co-sign. no one has signed him yet and you can never have enough pass rushers in the 3-4
