i got mixed feelings about that move...he wasnt a big factor last season. but the question is, whom the saints will go after.

Nobody I take it you did not see Jimmy Graham play last year as a rookie? Put up some solid numbers. Plus Davis Thomas played well to.

I think Jimmy is the TE of their future. The guys is 6'6 260 and played basketball for the U of MIA. They picked him in the 3rd I believe and dont see them really drafting a TE to "impact" their team. Maybe go Undrafted Rookie or pick up someone like Bo Scaif.

ONe of the more overrated players in recent history, like most who play in NY, he was built up there to be a lot better than he ever was.

He's still decent though. Maybe we could pick him up and use him in our 2 TE sets? Better blocker than Delanie right?

Id take Delanie over Shockey any day

As a free agent, he'd be a nice pick-up...not sure how good of a blocker he is though, and JH seems to like his TEs to block too.
Saints didn't want to keep around TE Jeremy Shockey and his $4.5 million in salary. Next big call is on Reggie Bush and his $11.8 million.

from AS ^
I bet the Tards pick him up

A few years ago I would have at this statement. It's now true since Shockey is not the same player he used to be.
