agreed.... a top 10 pick for a guy that didn't even play last year is too much imo
does that mean you would argue against robert quinn as well
It's different when a guy is injured vs being suspended; but I do have reservations about Quinn for being out last year also. His workouts will go a long way in telling us what we need to know.

Sure, I'd trade a 7th Rd. pick for him.

Is it an early 7th?

A 7th overall pick for a player coming off a season ending injury, no thanks. But I got a low 2nd round pick for you.
Patrick Peterson, Marcell Dareus and Von Miller are worth much more to me.

There are no QBs in this draft worth the #7 overall pick.

Screw that. There are no QBs on the market worth the 7th pick. Atleast with Dumerville you know he's good, relatively young, and he has played in the system. PWilly and Dumerville in the same LB corp would rape other teams dude.
Doesn't matter if we can't put up points.

Notice the word "trade."

If Denver picks AFTER us, then I'd probably swap picks with them (and throw in Dumerville). but, that's it..

Dumerville has history playing as a 4-3 end, no way do they trade him.

Yeah and we are going to put up more points with who at #7? I'm sorry but Kolb isn't really going to do it. You may as well just sign McNabb/Hasselbeck and pick Ponder #2.

A pro-bowl player coming off injury with a big $43 million guaranteed contract.
I'd do it for a second round pick and maybe conditional pick.

Or draft Gabbert and hope Harbaugh is as good as we all hope he is. The offensive line is congealing, the skill positions are there, and the coaching scheme has matured above a basic High School playbook. I'd rather go this direction than McNabb/Hasselbeck, even if we might win a few more games with them.
