Yeah after all that scandal about overpaying Nate , I doubt the 9ers will overpay for a CB. I would rather use top money on DT and DE and have some "good" CB's like the other top tier Defenses.

What "scandal"? Because some fans complain he is overpayed for the way he plays? Well those same fans have a very short memory, and forget we HAD to overpay to get him or he would have gone to a better team. Overpaying is the price we pay for not making the playoffs in so long, and for rumors of having cheap ownership that doesn't seem like they know what they are doing.

People also forget that Clements was the best player at that position available that year. So it was either overpay and get him - or go without. That being said, there is a big difference in overpaying for a player that has been bad his whole career (Jonas Jennings, anyone?) or someone who has been "good" (Clements) compared to someone like Nnamdi who has been an elite shutdown corner for a few seasons now.

No one is going to respond to you when you make sense. Jonas Jennings was a good tackle at one time though, just wasn't durable enough.

Jonas was good before he came to us, and when he was with us, he was good for like 2 games a season......

Glass man was injured after that.

That's very realistic. But we also have 2 of our own that we WILL resign (AS and Baas), and 1 that we should try and resign...but that likely won't happen (Franklin), leaving us with an enormous hole at NT. So while Joseph makes a ton of sense, I wonder if the team won't put all its effort into getting a NT as soon as FA starts.

We need a CB and ILB since spikes is most likely gone

As much as I would love Michael bush, i think the raiders resign

McClain would be an upgrade over Norris, plus McClain can give us some offense from the FB position, I would like to see him added to our team

um we didnt actually overpay for him. He is not seeing half that 80 mil. it was 8 yrs with 35 mil of it coming in yrs 7-8(never going to see that) yeah he got the 22 mil but 50 of the 80 he aint seeing. there will be a serious reshuffle of that contract.
