It's been reported through mort I believe that Bailey is tired off all the change in Denver and wants to make the switch to Safety to prolong his career. This might be a nice pick up for us.
Are we really sold that Mays and Smith are going to be able to handle the job back there?

what a great addition to our horrid secondary... also a vet that can call the plays to help our young CB's.
Let mays start at SS, Reggie can be a backup Safety for both positions for breathers.

This would be a tremendous move for us. We should be on the phone with his agent immediately after he becomes available... (or sooner).
That really would be a perfect addition. He'd do a fine job at FS, with Mays and Reggie manning the SS spot, and Spillman being the ST's DB. Reggie can back-up both positions. Use the money we would've spent on Goldson on Bailey instead.

I don't think you can not take a look at it. I think he would make a great FS and give us more protection up top.

Im never a guy to throw a bunch of money to a Vet, but we gotta get Champ, put him as S with Mays or another Vet and draft Peterson or Amukamara in rd 1, or Jimmy Smith/Aaron Williams in rd 2.
Then keep Nate, Spencer, Brown/Adams, and the rookie and let a few vets fight out for last spot.

We should totally get him. Line him up next to Taylor Mays or Reggie Smith, whoever wins out. Harbaugh is supposed to be a heck of a recruiter.

I am in favor of this but at some point we have to develop some of our own players too. Plus hed end up right back at corner with us. Who do u really want covering someones top guy, Clements ot Bailey? The more and more I think about the draft the more I just want to get a shutdown corner with our last top 10 pick for a pong time. No more over paying for veterans on the tail end of their carears. That being said if hed sign for under 6 mil a year he could sure up our secondary and help us make a good run.

Bailey would be great at the back and although his speed will be down a bit, i think his class and skills will always put him in a better position to make a play and make up for that loss of speed.

smarts to know where to be on a play far outweigh speed in most cases. of course him and clements have lost a step getting older but with bailey or clements at safety they can really see the field and have the experience to know where to be at.
