2011 Offseason Acquisitions

In order of operations:

1) John Fox (HC) - 2010 record not representative of his caliber as a head coach

2) Josh McDaniel (OC) - Best available option; And wont be getting any HC opportunities anytime soon

3) Kevin Kolb (QB-Trade) - Deadly accurate with intermediate passing game; Perfect extension of the coordinator

4) Matt Light (OT-FA) - Bumping Davis inside to replace Rachal would be an ideal fit

5) Patrick Peterson (CB - Draft) - Draft's top defensive talent at a position of need

Thoughts?

I'd rather have an offensive head coach and I want to see the west coast system return to it's maker. McDaniels doesn't run the west coast system. Not too mention thats the system that Kolb will thrive in as he's been groomed in the west coast system in Philly under Reid.
John Fox is a heavy run oriented guy and I've had enough of that with Sing. So I don't think you would ever see McDaniels as his OC because he's a heavy passing attack guy. Either way, I'd rather have an offensive head coach and I want to see the west coast system return to it's maker. McDaniels doesn't run the west coast system. 5) Patrick Peterson (CB - Draft) - Draft's top defensive talent at a position of need

Thoughts?

1) Harbaugh - HC

2) Brings in his own OC

3) No on Kolb. Draft a QB if possible. 1 of the Smith's may be here for another year.

4) FA - Vincent Jackson WR from Chargers. 6'5" 240 lbs. and fast.

5) Draft BPA - favor a QB if you can get a good one.

Draft Peterson. Trade for Kolb, Vick, Or draft a QB in 3rd or later.

Hire Gruden, Harbaugh, Fisher or another proven HC

Oline upgrade Light would be beast and get more veteran players at Oline on 1 year deals.

Josh would be Beast at OC but idk if players would like playing for him as he has a bad rap for this already. DB IS NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

Duh! Thanks.
No to all, except Peterson. I'd prefer one of the Husker CBs, though, but I'm biased.

They have said Prince is the Only Corner worth a top 10 pick and is an amazing Talent.

Coming from the spread offense at University of Houston and after receiving some opportune grooming in the nuances of the position from one of the sport's best QB developers in Andy Reid, I think he Kolb would mesh very well with McDaniel's offensive philosophy... And with the rest of the team already versed in the nominclature of the digit system, I feel continuing down that road would provide some welcome continuity through the offensive transition.

Further, I feel that your assessment of John Fox is based on a bit of a generalization and it should be noted that, amongst his peers, John Fox is one of the most adamantly revered coaches in the league. I honestly dont think that there is a more qualified candidate who we could realistically attain.
