Because he can't cover and he doesn't get very many interceptions. I wouldn't sign him. The only one of the 4 FAs one of the other guys in this topic named that deserve to be re-signed is Lawson.

lol i took so much crap from everyone for saying Goldson was overrated last year.

everybody calling me a "hater" for saying he sucked at coverage. dude lived off the MNF AZ game last year. i hoped i would be wrong, but he just isnt cutting it.

exactly he is still very young and not half as bad as Clements or Mays have been in coverage

He is our biggest liability on defense. I hate that he gets one big hit a game and people who are retarded (read: the coaching staff) go "ohhh wow... he's so good!"

Coaching staff are showing favorites and being complete idiots.

Goldson is a better fit at SS, and Reggie Smith is a better fit at FS.

Our starting safeties should be Smith and Mays right now, and let them develop some chemistry.

Yeah, but Singletary isnt doing whats best for the team next year. Hes doing whats "best" for him to save his job.

He gets beat like every single game deep but fortunately for him the qb's have either missed the throws or the wr's have dropped the balls.
