He'll be a free agent in 24 hours. He most likeley won't clear waivers. They just said on Monday Night Countdown that a handful of teams are interested, and because he doesn't have a huge salary, he will most likeley have a new home by tomorrow. What's our waiver position?

50/50 (since it's in 2009 draft order from what they're saying), we gotta beat out Seattle and Jacksonville. Seattle is interested but I could see Jax going after him since their QB situation is atrocious with David Gerrard.

That doesnt shock me.
Alex is in his last year. If he doesn't pan out we have these options
1. Edwards (potentially)
2. Nate Davis project still going on
3. Troy Smith, (if he is still around) maybe fighting for a roster spot
4. New 1st round draft pick for QB
So lots of options if Alex gets the boot.

All Edwards needs is a good teacher. Something he never got in Buffalo. A coach that could give him confidence to take shots down field.
