TROY SMITH TROLLEY

Patently false if you watched this game.

Oh stupid me, I was assuming you've been watching him play the past six years. Oh yea today in the 4th quarter he was a lil gunslinger out there. The incomplete pass to Davis was really cute too.

Actually, that was a pretty good pass imo. Just good defense. It does happen once in a while.

I'm not saying Alex is a great QB...but saying he is unwilling to throw downfield isn't true. Say it with me...it is an exaggeration. Almost as much as your suggesting he's started 6 years for us.

Kid's got some fire, I'll give him that much.
I am curious if his innaccuracy can be fixed. He mainly seems on target, but throws the ball high. That could be a mechanics issue, or something that is possibly irreparable. I would like to see him stick around as a backup if we cannot land a good FA to play while the rookie is learning...
Why was he so mad on the sideline? Because they pulled him?

wish he had accuracy with that fire

And a better feel of when to let the ball go.

Sing was going to bench him at the time. This is how sad our coaching situation is. A player that has been sucking all day can talk the HC out of pulling him.

Brian Billick said lack of accuracy was his problem in Baltimore as well.

Troy had some really bad throws today. Even the pass that Crabree took the distance was an overthrow to Davis, or else one of those two guys were on the wrong route. No way they both should have been that close together.

I'm just saying -- can you imagine having an idiot like Mike Singletary telling you what to do?

I can't imagine going to work and having someone that has no idea how to do anything threatening to fire me mid-way through the day.

Mike Sing was more like Mike Scott.

Thats a pretty good analogy...Michael Scott could sure sell some paper but he seems a bit ill prepared for the position he currently has

troy smith showed me more positive attributes this season than alex has shown me in 6 years. i'd be content starting the season next year with troy smith as the starting qb. alex got six years to show how much he sucks. let's give troy at least 1 full year as the starter. he's earned his opportunity the old fashioned way.
