Who do 49ers sign to replace Coffee???

Westbrook - if he's healthy - would be a great addition. At this point in his career, he's not suited to be an every down back anymore and should be happy with a backup role and limited carries. More imortantly, he's an excellent blocker and great in blitz pickup... a huge question mark for Dixon. The guy's a consummate professional with tons of experience and therfore ought to be able to come in and pick up the system quickly. Great receiver out of the backfield, good addition to the locker room... what's not to like?

Can we get a "sign Westbrook" thread.

Gado wouldn't be a bad pickup. But I doubt we sign anyone. I think Coffee leaving pretty much solidifies Michael Robinson remaining on the team.

Westbrook would be a good option, but not sure if he would fit the offense.

Im sure they can find some good RB to be a back up. RB is an easy position to find.

Drafting of Dixon seems like a genius move right now considering people were saying at the draft the we have three same style runner in Gore, Coffee, and Dixon.

I really hope they try Caulcrick out for RB, he was part of a two headed monster at Mich St. and if he has the burst to hit the hole in the NFL, he could be our Brandon Jacobs.

Sing wants him to focus on FB but lets be honest with Miller and Norris, he isn't gonna make the team at FB.

I posted this yesterday(before Coffee retired), and a few people didnt like the idea. now what?

I think there's a good chance Sheets won't make it onto the 'Phins final 53 man roster.

I know it's kind of a joke around here, but I think he could be resigned and be like our Justin Forsett.
