Not long ago, some were assuming that, because agent Drew Rosenhaus declined to disclose the five teams interested in receiver Terrell Owens, no team was genuinely interested.
Now that Owens has signed with the Bengals, we've been able to piece together the names of the five teams that were in the mix, to one degree or another.
Beyond the Bengals and the Rams, the other interested teams were the Jets, Seahawks, and Raiders. The interest of Seattle and Oakland was preliminary in nature, and both dropped out before the process got too far along.
In the end, 31 teams can ultimately have no interest. If one has enough of it, then the player has a new home.
In Cincinnati, where players shunned in other cities for various reasons emerge via bargain-basement deals, T.O.'s arrival makes a lot of sense.

They added two million in incentives but he probably has to make the pro bowl or get 1000 yards

They also picked up Jordan Shipley from Texas in the 3rd round, I'm interested to see if he can make the offense this year. If he is used as a slot reciever I think he can get a lot of chances to make big plays.

Not a bad signing for Cincy. Bryant's health has been an issue. This team will have an even better receiving corps now. I have to wonder if they'll look into making a trade this year or next.
Ochocinco, Owens, Bryant, Caldwell, Jerome Simpson, Shipley, and other competing players like Dezmon Briscoe, Quan Cosby, and Matt Jones (longshot).
