I don't think I could like it. I can't stand Peyton!

You would love him once the wins come rollin

Plus think of all the awesome commercials!

Find a new team then. Honestly if you wouldn't take Peyton Manning on your team your fan card should be revoked.

Most of these guys won't even see the market. If we wanted any of the top names, we'd have to trade for them. And if Smith doesn't work out, no doubt in my mind I'd give up a 1st and 3rd round pick for Tom Brady. If that's what it would take to get him. But I think I have a better chance at whipping Manny Pacuiquao's ass than Brady hitting the market. As for Peyton Manning, he'll get a deal done waaaay before March 2nd or whenever free agency starts. Manning is the glue that holds that franchise together.

AB what about Kyle Orton, isn't he scheduled to become a free agent??

Did Orton get an extension, I swore he did, let me check.

8/19/2010: Signed a two-year, $11.621 million contract. The deal contains $8.2 million guaranteed, including $5.5 million of Orton's 2011 base salary. 2010: $2.621 million, 2011: $9 million, 2012: Free Agent

So then which QB's are gonna be FA's next year? If no one good is available then were gonna need to draft one. Of course this all based on the Niners imploding this year which I hope doesn't happen.
Hasselbeck lol! Could you imagine...not exactly a long term solution, but we owe those f*gs 1.

On my fantasy list would be Manning, Woodley, Ngata, Moss or Rice and any one of those corners is an upgrade over Clements and 75% of em would cost us half as much...hard to ignore the Champ though; that would be awesome, but it's just a pipe dream. None of those guys are gonna make it here.

I think realistically we have a shot at Shaun Rogers or Pat Williams if the money's right...although I think I read or heard something about Williams retiring??? Maybe Shaun Ellis or Trevor Pryce if the Jets have as much salary tied up as they did this year (I have no idea, just assuming). There's more corners and safeties than you can shake a stick at and we HAVE to get at least 1 of em.

But pass rush is the big ticket and there's 1 fu**ing guy that we're not gonna get and 1 bum that hasn't done jack since he blew out his knee and quit taking steroids. I'd just change back to the 4-3. It's low maintenance compared to 3-4 and you don't need to special order your fu**ing parts from Germany. This goddamn 3-4 is never gonna happen and chasing it is killing us
My dream scenario:

Sign Jon Gruden (go back to WCO)
Sign Matty Hasselbeck
draft Mallet or Luck or Locker

Championship
Pick up McNabb in FA, 2 Yr deal.

Draft QB (1st overall it looks like lol).

Groom for 2 years under McNabb.

Go with the WCO

We need DB's. Eric Wright a FA next year...
The only two options for a veteran qb next season look to be Mcnabb or Hasselbeck. I think if Mcnabb plays well he isn't going anywhere, but I can see the Seahawks letting go of Hasselbeck.
