It is sad, and their play does, unfortunately, GM's and agents don't think like that. Agents wanna get the most guaranteed they can, GM's wanna protect themselves from big investments as much as they can.

I think he could, as long as hes given a full off-season, OTA's, mini-camps and TC to learn the system. The best things, IMO, that would help him learn another offense so quickly would be his accuracy and ability to read a defense much better than most of the QB's in the league, IMO only Manning is better.

i would love to pick up a wr ala randy moss or sidney rice and a rb deangelo williams and cb a cromratie would be nice truth be told we need to resign our own free agent like vernoin davis, goldson and manny lawson did lead us in sacks last year if he can lead team in sacks 2 YEARS IN ROW HE MUST BE RESIGNED

Well actually, if Smith fails to live up to 2011 expectations and Brady hits the market I could definitely see Jed York first in line at the candy shop.

Shoot I'd settle for Kyle Orton if hes all that was left.

the 9ers was his favorite teams as a kid, he lives on the west coast now because of his wife the model and I could see him wanting to win the big one without Belichick to prove that it was the QB not the coach that made the dynasty
