It would be a better move to sign this guy than go after one in the Draft and cutting him, like we did to Bear Pasco.

During Rayes' first go round with the Jets for two seasons. Which happened to be Bechts best two years in the league. Becht was a decent Jet but hasn't done much since leaving them. Still he'd be a decent #2 TE as he's a pretty solid blocker.

From our free agent hunting, it sounds like we believe David Carr would have been great in Houston if he had a good line, so now we're going to get 643 TEs for blocking purposes to see if Carr is indeed jesus in cleats.
