You make it sound like we really missed out on a star player. Did you watch Anderson play last year? I dont think he is anything to lose sleep over thats for sure. I still believe Carr has more upside than Anderson although neither is that great thats for sure.

OH NO !!! Just like missing out on Shanahan because we hired Singletary.

I think everyone in the NFL knew Anderson would be cut this week before his huge bonus was due. If they ever wanted Anderson they could have waited.

More upside? Anderson has made a pro bowl and once led the Browns to 10-6. David Carr has accomplished what?

Last year the Browns had no playmakers besides Josh Cribbs.

Didn't you guys read the article about how Carr was starting to make a few waves around the league with his practice play? According to insiders he really started to mature and look good (Yes its practice)

You never know, the guy was once good enough to be drafted 1st over all. The physical tools are there, most of what makes you or breaks you as a qb is mental and situation. There are a lot of examples you could point to and say he just took time to develop.
