Following Adam Shefters Twitter has been great this free agency. There's been many developments that have been overlooked by the media. Here are a few as of the last 10 hours that are certainly noteworthy.... With free-agent TE Brandon Manumaleuna agreeing to a five-year deal in Chicago, it frees the Bears to trade TE Greg Olsen Panthers released DT Maake Kemoeatu, who tore his tore Achilles in late July. isnt he the guy who always get hurt every year for the bears. he plays like 2 games then he out for the year. Or am i thinking of someone else

Yeah, but considering Hudson has left and Walt Harris/Dre Bly could be gone for good... we desperately need some depth and competition. Given that we showed interest in Pacman, I wouldn't be surprised if we kick around the tires on Vasher at the very least. Nate Clement's play has seriously fallen off as well....

Shawn Andrews - psychological issues and back injuries.

Maybe Singletary could fix his head and light a fire under him.

Nathan Vasher - would be an upgrade over Bly / Harris.

I'm a fan of bringing Nathan Vasher in for us.........I still think he has alot left and maybe all he needs is to be surrounded by better defensive players than what Chicago has.
