That should be a good starting point for Willis' new contract.

Battle might go to pitt. Battle and Ward might kill a DB while blocking.

Battle is scheduled to visit Pittsburgh; Seattle trip on hold
Free-agent wide receiver Arnaz Battle does not figure to be back with the 49ers next season, but he is getting some play on the free-agent market.
Battle, a seven-year player, is scheduled to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend, according to a league source. He had a tentative trip scheduled to meet with the Seattle Seahawks, but those plans are on hold.
Just a wild guess, but that might have something to do with the Seahawks' interest in Denver restricted free agent Brandon Marshall, who is reportedly scheduled for a Saturday visit.
Battle began last season as the 49ers' No. 3 receiver, but he kept sliding down the depth chart. He does not fit into the 49ers' plans for 2010, as the club has young receivers such as Michael Crabtree, Josh Morgan, Jason Hill and Brandon Jones ahead of him. He caught just five passes for 40 yards.
The Steelers receivers are: Hines Ward (95 catches, 1,167 yards, six TDs), Santonio Holmes (79-1,248-5), Mike Wallace (39-756-6), Limas Sweed (1-5-0), Stefan Logan (1-5-0)and Tyler Grisham (1-14-0).
Battle would also be counted upon to be a core special teams player.

does anybody else find it really funny that McNabb's agent went out of his way to say that the rams are not one of the teams that is in the hunt for McNabb?

I can almost hear somebody say "The rams? seriously, c'mon man"

Interesting. I would have thought that Washington would be his first stop.

What do you think about the Seahawks signing Marshall to an offer sheet? Broncos would get the 6th pick
If I'm Denver I let them have him. They could trade up for a QB or still get a top player.
Didnt know the put an offer in. I knew they were interested though. They still dont have anyone to get im the ball on a consistent basis IMO.
Marshall has a meeting with the seahawks for 2morrow
I could have sworn I checked someones twitter that said they signed him, maybe I'm just trippin balls. Either way I'd say it's going to get done. Whether they give up the 6th or 14th remains to be seen
They can't trade the 14. You can not trade picks that were not originally your own. If they get Marshall, it's for the 6 if the Bronco's stick with the tender.

I'm pretty sure you can't trade comp picks, i'm pretty sure Patriots have done it a few times now over the last few years, trading back on picks they got from others. So i feel fairly confident in saying, yes you can trade picks that you acquired via a trade.

I`m a lil surprised about the money here. I figured Rolle to get about $10 million less than he did. I`m just glad he is out of Arizona.
