I like the move a lot. Draft Suh and their D-Line looks respectable.

Seriously, Detroit gave Stafford another target, got better up front on the DL where Schwartz wants his pressure to come from real fast. Good moves IMO thus far by them. I think they have overpaid for Burleson but he did outplay Housh last year and can help in the return game.

Now they just need to get some help at OT, I doubt Jeff Backus and Gosder Cherilus are gonna cut it long term.

Apparently they like Backus at LT

Apparently they are hoping Stafford gets killed.

I honestly like the moves Detroit have been making. Their next big question will be do they take Suh/McCoy or Okung.

Or can they find a trade partner to move down. If the Rams take Suh/McCoy teams could want to move up for the remaining DT or Bradford. If they take Bradford teams could be wanting to move up for the DT of their choice. Trading down from 2 is gonna be hella hard but it could be a good move to getting better and not paying #2 money after hitting FA fairly hard.

I just don't see anyone wanting to trade up. Only way the Lions trade back is if they get raped in a deal. They should take Suh and build up a strong defense.

Agreed. The 1 team with all the firepower in the world to jump up would be New England but I highly HIGHLY doubt they do that.

1) I doubt he fits in the 3-4.
2) We have a Charlie Hustle, his name is Justin Smith.
