LaDainian Tomlinson: If I'm released by the Chargers...

Lt may not be an elite back but he is still much better than average i wouldnt mind signing him 1 bit but i bet the jags do cause they need more popularity

As Bob Barker says ONLY
"If the price is right"
I think he is washed up and I doubt he would go play for the Patriots after he based Belichick and the Patriots team a few years ago. Arizona? No, doesen't make any sense. I would say maybe Houston, he is from TX and at worst he could be a goal-line back for them where he still excells in that area and the Texans struggled in that department.

MJD 1400 yards 15 tds

why would they want LT, wouldn't sign him just for popularity and I'm pretty sure he won't want to play for a team with 0 shot of a SB
We don't need him, we have Coffee and Robinson.

You guaranteeing he will get 10 TD's next year? I'll bet against it. How did Emmitt, Edgerin, Shaun Alexander do? It's human nature and inevitable, no knock on LT.
Just say no to over the hill, washed up former pro bowlers..

We should be focused on players whose careers are on the upswing, not signing guys based on production from 3 years ago.

LT, was once one of the top, if not the top RB in the league. He is nowhere close to what he was 4 years ago.

A washed up RB is a bad thing.
Makes you wonder when we'll be having this conversation about Adrian Peterson...

yeah

we need to focus on acquiring an RT first

then a PR
then a RG
then secondary help
the another passrusher

why is everyone hung up on the back up RB spot? why spend big $ on that position? Coffee looked great in the PS and everyone was on his nuts, he sucked in the RS yes but the OL was horrible when he was playing FT with Gore out. He's a 3rd round pick going into his 2nd year, give Coffee a shot.
I think he looked pretty quick against the Jets but he just happened to be playing the leagues stingiest defense that's all..He still can play
I'd still like a fast change of pace back like Spiller!
Living in SD I can tell you LT can still play. His problem has been being injured the last few years. He may have lost a step but he's still a pretty effective player when healthy. For a huge price he is not worth it. For a reduced price this guy still has game left in him. Around the endzone he is a TD machine. He's always had a nose for the endzone. Even at this later point in his career he can still score around the goal line.
the cat put up 12 tds this season! why should he retire when he can still offer something of value?

It's not like that offense needs a RB anyway.

I could definitely see him going to a big name team like the Pats or the Giants. Surprisingly, I could see him going to the Cardinals.

No you can't you're only saying it for the very small chance of it happening, then if it does you will look like a genius.

but you truly don't see it happening.

If i didn't, why wouldn't i say another team like the bills, jaguars, bucaneers, seahawks, etc. ?

just f**kin around friend

now that you mention seahawks though.... hmmm.

yeah i thought about that after i posted that. the seahawks have a crappy core of RB's. maybe makes the most sense of all.
