JPeezy might be a FA this offseason

Having a sack artist like him would've helped our D hella. Even though he's been banged up this year, he's still getting the job done with 8 sacks. He's only 32. We should've picked him up before, he's been one of my favorite players for a while, lets not make the mistake of passing on him again. Put him in our rotation with Manny/Haralson/Brooks and we might have a legit pass rush, keeping all healthy and fresh to go after the QB and wear down other teams OL. Think about a LB corp of Porter/Spikes/Willis/Lawson, or Porter/Spikes/Willis/Brooks. Beastly. Absolutely beastly. Especially the 2nd one, provided Brooks can drop in coverage without looking terrible. Which he should be able to since he used to be a MLB in cinci. He would add some more swag to our D, and we can focus on the secondary in the draft concentrating on getting either Haden or Berry.

Back in '06 we picked up Tully Banta-Cain instead who did NOTHING for us. yet TBC has 9.5 sacks this year with the Patriots. Maybe Porter would have sucked here too.

Porter has performed for 2 different teams. TBC is a product of Belichik.

For the right price I wouldn't mind having him around at all. IMO this team could use a crazy red-azz like him to keep everyone on their toes.

He would be great on 3rd and longs, a pass rushing speacialist that we can keep fresh on the sidelines. Could even extend his career a couple of years.

Think of having 4 pass rushers to rotate with at OLB. Could have a scary D...

I remember Nolan saying TBC would have 15 sacks for us...

they caught on to his killer spin move pretty quickly
