If we grab a FA QB to lead this team who you want?

Stick with Smith we're in QB hell. as bad as he looked today at least he's done some good things this year too.

Shouldn't this be in the Free Agency thread?

the groupies just got used to having mediocre QB's on the team ever since Garcia left town so with 1 good performance from Smith they cheer like if the niners just won the superbowl with him at QB

Let's look at this realistically.


Campbell - Do we really want ANOTHER struggling QB on our roster?

Pennington - May never play again after shoulder injury, and at the best, will never be the same. Pass.

Jackson - Since Brett will be out the door soon, I doubt he's going anywhere. He's unproven at best.

Clemens - Not a terrible QB, but not a good one. Certainly not worth getting.

Boller - Are you serious?! Did you ever see that guy play?

Orton - No way Denver is letting him go.

Hill - We've already watched that train wreck.




In conclusion, stick with Smith for a while (season isn't over yet), check out draft, if we get a good chance (likely in a qb heavy year), go for it, got nothing to lose. If not, keep working on smith, let Davis keep learning, and hope for the best next year. Oh yeah, and get an o-line that can block.

Then who on that list is better than Smith? It's not Campbell or Orton or Hill. Pennington isn't good anymore.

That list is a bunch of mediocre qbs, and one (nate davis), who has never played a real down. Smith is the best out of that group. People wanna get rid of him ASAP if he has a bad game, or jump all over his nuts if he has a good game. It's funny.

Philly is better than us. Period. Smith would of needed a miraculous performance to pull us out with a win. The Walker fumble changed the game. Dumb mistakes, by Smith also, have killed us all year.

Orton & Campbell have a better rating than Smith. If it wasn't for injuries, Pennington would blow Smith away. Never said I didn't like Smith. I said he's no good.
