this guy has matured by looking at the interview, and niners are going to be a winning team, so I think he won't cause as much trouble especially with Sing

Crabtree and Morgan would learn from another great receiver and he has mastered the way you would like to see 49ers young receivers play. Singletary strong personality wouldn't allow Owens to be a distraction to the team at any point. The guy still has the ability to dominate a game. Nobody else wants him in the league so he would be at a bargain price. Gives Owens opportunity for some redemption in his career (I've always been behind the guy) Adds more attitude on the Offense that will add to the fun of the 49ers offense. There's a lot of good things that would come if TO came back to the 49ers.

He's more mature now..he knows that his bad attitude has gotten him kicked off some teams in the past and now he's changed his attitude and focusing on football...he hasnt started any havoc in Buffalo and will probably not be there next year...i say we get him to come back to SF

OMG. Do people remember how bad Owens was on this team? He called a pro-bowl QB gay and criticized him every chance he got. Owens is horrible. He'd be a really bad influence on Crabs and others. Screw him.

At first I was shocked at the positive response to bringing Owens back to the 9ers and then I remember there are a lot of posters who were just kids when Owens was on the team. They forgot just what TO did to the 9ers and how bad he screwed us.

This TO situation reminds me of a former very hot but crazy girlfriend who cheated on you and took all your money and now wants you back. Since you dated her you've been seeing "4" level girls but now have a girlfriend who is a solid "7" and might have a future as a "8" or "9". The only reason the former crazy girlfriend wants you back is because she's wasted out and used up. No guy really wants her and she see's her former boyfriend has a brighter future than she does.

Just like the former boyfriend the 9ers would be stupid to take her back. Her best years are behind her (look at TO's numbers) but she still has the same personality of old. Sure maybe in the last year she has acted fine but that is because after the last guy that dumped her (Dallas) no other guy except for a dud (Buffalo) wanted her.

At first blush this looks good with TO on the other side of Crabtree. But I just don't see keeping TO happy if we spread the ball around to VD, Gore and Crabtree as well. We've all seen TO implode when not happy again and again. Too much risk at upsetting the team chemistry for me.

f**k no...TO=team obliterator. The guy burned his bridges and now that he is realizing his NFL options are limited, he wants to wax nostalgic? f**k that clown, he is a shadow of what he used to be.
