Why? Just because of Pete Carroll?

Bush would most likely go to a team that would give him plenty of snaps. He'd be in another rotation with 2 other RBs in Seattle. The Redskins or Chargers may be more realistic landing points - more San Diego.

Only if he signed for less then a million.

I've been a Bush supporter since he came into the league but its incredible that he can't succeed in a wide open offense like the Saints have. I'm beginning to think he is nothing more then a glorified 3rd down back.

I was watching the Saints play the other day and he had a 20 something yard run and they said that was his career long!!! Wow... Being only an hour away from New Orleans, I can tell you that all the Saints fans can careless about Reggie.

Your stat is simply wrong. he had a 55 yarder this year vs the Rams and had a 43 yarder the year before.

Reggie Bush is not your typical RB -- he's special. The guy had 200 catches in his first 34 games...that's insane and an NFL record (actually tied w/ Boldin, a WR!). He's also deadly in the PR/KR game.

In 2008, Bush has 9 TDs in 9 games. For his career, bush has 30 TDs in 47 games, only 33 starts. For his career Bush has scored a TD every 23 times he has touched the ball, including returns. By comparison, Ten's Chris Johnson scores every 27 times he touches the ball, Peterson every 26 times, Gore every 36 times, MJD every 20 times (15 on rushes, 18 on offense), and LT every 16 times.

These are ridiculous numbers to contemplate, since Bush rarely gets the ball on goalline plays.

Bush would be a great fit for a spread offense, eluding defenders on draw plays.

Actually it is a well known fact that bush is not a starting RB. He is a great returner but not a great rb. And in his career, he has not had a longer run than many slower starting rb's in the league and he certainly gets opportunities.....THAT IS WHY THOMAS AND BELL get more carries, because they are better at running the ball.

Bush is good, a great returner but not a great running back, A great receiver but NOT rb. I would be happy to have him on the 49ers but i think he will go to a team where he can get yet another chance to be a STARTING rb instead of a change of pace rb or 2nd rb.
Would be stoked to pick him up rather than Spiller or another high draft pick on a return guy.
Ican see him landing in SD if Darren Sproles doesn't resign and with the release of LT. So that leaves us with only one thing .... Draft Spiller.

Unless San Diego wants Coffee lol that'll never happen though.

Coffee for Cromartie? Wouldn't mind it, especially if we signed Bush.
i would take reggie in a heart beat he fills a need as a returner kickoffs and punts and 3rd down back explosiveness come back to cali reggie reunite with high school teammate alex smith
I for one think that reggie bush can be a speedier wes welker type and a running back that would be a change of pace for gore...oif he does get cut sign him asap 6 years 26mil

NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reports that the Saints are "not even contemplating" releasing Reggie Bush, despite an impending $8M salary.

Lombardi indicated that asking Bush to take a pay cut isn't even in New Orleans' immediate plans. Bush, still just 25, saw career lows in carries and catches last season, but still somehow found a way to score eight all-purpose TDs. He'll return as a change-of-pace player/punt returner in 2010.

His versatility is proven and his athletic ability would always need to be accounted for by the opposing D, and signing Bush would fill a need of ours. Just curious what price he's demanding and what we're willing to give.
