Bill Cowher interested in coming back as a headcoach next season

NFL.com says Bill Cowher is interested in coming back as a headcoach next season. Numerous teams are interested in him, Bills, Bears, Panthers, Jets, Cleveland, Texans... Highly unlikely, but if Sing stinks it up the rest of the season and we end up 4-12, would any of you be interested in Bill Cowher as a 49er headcoach??? Just curious.

Yeah sure, if we go 4-12. I'd rather have an offensive guy like Shanahan though.

I know. But this is more of a hypothetical question. If Sing gets canned, like i said highly unlikely, and there are coaches like Shanahan, Cowher, Holmgren available... would you want to make the swap?

Intriguing (spelling?). Cowher is a very good coach, yet If Nolan had 3.5 years, SIng has to get another shot. If he is unable to make the correct adjustments he has to leave.

IMHO Holmgren is done especially as a GM, Shanahan also as a HC and GM NO WAY!

Honestly, I don't think that Cowher would want to come here. Even if he did, if Singletary gets fired, we have to go after a head coach whose specialty is offense.

lol cowher will not come to the west coast unlesss he becomes the highest paid coach in the gm. hes going to carolina guaranteed. singletary wont get fired unless we possibly lose to detroit and the rams because those 2 are the only guaranteed wins remaining the others are ? with the way were playing and coaching

Cowher is an east coast guy, i can just see him going to Carolina at this point...I really thought maybe last year he goes to the Browns because he started coaching there but now I don't really know. I like John Fox as a coach too, I hope he gets another job
