With Clements Down - Take a Chance on Pacman

Pac-man is a free agent the Falcons are thinking about taking a chance on him:

Prior to the start of this season, there was a scintilla of thought that the Dallas Cowboys would bring Adam Jones back; Pacman was still living at a house owned by owner Jerry Jones and the team wasn't stacked at CB.

Later, there was a brief flirtation with the CFL, but Pac's comments prior to actually signing led to the rescinding of a contract offer.

But is there an NFL team out there that is ready to roll the dice on him? Perhaps. The Atlanta Falcons brought in "a handful" of CBs recently for a tryout, per National Football Post, but none left with a contract. The team will be without Brian Williams for the remainder of 2009, and of the players listed, none are as competent as Pac.

On the other hand, it was just recently that the Falcons went through the Michael Vick debacle, and it's unlikely Arthur Blank and his cronies would want another miscreant in the fold so soon.

What do you think kids? Lots of talent both in coverage AND in the return game. Singletary excels in motivating players. It is worth a thought...

Freeeeeeeeeee Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noo thanks. One of the positives we have is the chemistry in the lockerroom. This guy is a classless loser who whines and gets people shot and he's not even that good.
I don't see why not. He has a ton of talent. Just sign him to a contract that is heavily loaded with incentives so that we won't be out much if we have to cut him if he keeps pulling his antics.
No way!!! Pacman = Loser..... We want winners!!!!

Well he would have some open-ended ties with the Crabtree family, seeing in all one of Michael's 50 cousins was Pacman's former bodyguard.
Please God no. The guys we have aren't doing that bad, they just need to spend more time on the sidelines to catch a breath but for that to happen we need our offense to step it up and put some drives together.

He doesn't have a ton of talent though. His stink was disguised in Tennessee, because he was surrounded by talent. He got beat all the time in Dallas, and he's not even good enough for the CFL. So, uh, no.

I honestly don't know if we can get him for the minimum it could be worth a shot - if he so much as looks cross eyed cut him.

Tarrell Brown is not the greatest cover option.
Pacman sucked in Dallas and still got in trouble.

Hell no!!
anyone would be a more useful roster spot than spurlock

If Clements goes on IR, look for us to add another WR. 8 WRs will be ideal for our 3 WR set formations on offense.
