Is he still available? Maybe worth a look considering our current condition on the offensive line.
Yea he has to be signed, this should be a no brain signing.

Please Scotty...please..

For one McCloughan would rather go the cheap route. Two, He'll most likely go with someone that's either been on our team or brought up from our own practice squad, which could also be listed under "cheap route".
The Eagles have O-line problems of their own and after giving him a workout recently even they didn't sign him. He used to be a good/great tackle. Now he's damaged goods.

I live about an hour south of Philly and usually hear everything Eagles related even heard about Garcia returning earlier this season before he signed. I didn't hear anything about Jon Runyan working out for them.
Even if Runyan isn't going to be as good as he was he's got to be an upgrade over what we got.

Eagles work out Runyan

Former starting right tackle Jon Runyan has worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Runyan never missed a game in nine years with the Eagles, starting 192 straight regular-season contests. He wasn't re-signed after having microfracture surgery on his right knee.

Coach Andy Reid brought Runyan in Thursday to check his fitness level.

You didn't really think living an hour away from Philly gave you an advantage on eagles news did you???? Almost every NFL sports columnist in the country has a twitter and facebook account posting updates 24-7. I get Niner news just as quickly as fans living in the bay area (thanks to guys like Maiocco and Barrows on twitter).

I understand how the internet works thanks for the update. My point is the Eagles fanbase is craz obsessive and the local media seems to cater to it by reporting on EVERYTHING EAGLES RELATED down to the stupidest detail I feel like I would know about it if an Eagle farts.
