Seahawks cut FS Brian Russell

A quality depth player that started 32 games last 2 seasons but I doubt we show intrest in him.

I think the team is heavily relying on Goldson to come up big this year.
No. He's absolutely terrible. Roman is Pro Bowler compared to Brian f'ing Russell.

LINK.
We're already keeping 6 safeties, which is ridiculous.
I'd pass on him.

1. Bodies for special teams.

2. Injury insurance. Micheal Lewis has already been bitten twice. And based on his history something tells me Dashon Goldson won't start every game this season.

The guy could be right but he did have 9 INT's when he played in MIN. I am not saying we should grab him but just letting people know he is out there. Personally I dont want him but with Lewis head injuries, Goldston being injury prone, Roman back there (enough said), and Reggie Smith lack of expieriance I dont feel comfortable at FS position. I can see a strong possibility of maybe Curtis Taylor starting one game this year.
Russell is washed up. He's never been great in coverage and was a poor tackler last year. The Seahawks gave up on him because he became a liability.
They replaced him with oldie Milloy
