He's like a god here. Maybe not a god. Maybe like a really powerful cyborg that's famous.

Yeah, he's like a really powerful cyborg that's famous here.
hell why not
I would definitely trade Alex for Vince straight up. Vince is more of a "has been" where as Alex has NEVER been anything.

They are both terrible QB's...but on that fact alone I would rank VY higher than Smith

It worked very nicely for one Mr. Young who was a backup for a few seasons before becoming the starter in SF

Trading Young for Smith? Kind of like asking someone whether they would trade a gallon of spoiled milk for a dozen rotten eggs.

Dude has suffered a couple setbacks, but he's WAY more talented than Smith or Hill. Now's the time to get him, when his (perceived) value is low.

I would probably cry myself to sleep every night if Vince Young joined the 49ers. Tears of joy.

If Colt wins it all this year, would you take him over Vince?

Well, being a Notre Dame & Cal fan and living in LA at the time, I was as happy as any Texan. I, honestly, lost my voice screaming, "Come on, Vince!" for 2 straight hours.

I don't think I would, although I like Colt McCoy. All I'm saying is that if we can get a RT and a DT/FS/DE/CB (another defensive playmaker) in the 2010 draft that means we can protect our QB and on defense protect the lead. With this theory, I feel that we can have the pieces in place for Vince Young to succeed. Obviously, I would just love either Hill or Smith to do this and not have to actually be worried about our QB for the first time in what seems like decades. It is just interesting to think of picking VY up and seeing him be the guy he was supposed to be.

However, at this point in time and due to circumstances, I believe Vince is a bigger bust than Alex Smith because the Titans are GOOD -- he SHOULD be succeeding there. AS had NO chance, broke his leg, broke his shoulder, had horrible O-Lines and no offense, no defense... but I'm not making excuses...

I hate to say it, but Colt just looks small and fragile. I love him, and he is definitely approaching Vince in awesomeness. But I'm always worried he's going to get hurt. I never felt that way with Vince.

But who knows how I'll feel when Colt wins it all this year?

I like the way you think.

I thought I heard Colt in an interview once talking about how hard it is for him just to stay the size that he is, otherwise he'd be scrawny.

Colt is a good QB, but I've never seen him dominate, ever.
VY did it on a regular basis in college, and if he ever gets his head on straight, he has a shot to do it in the league too.

no i WASNOTATTHECATCH.

I consider it one of the most dominating individual performances ever (and #1 in college fb, for sure). He accounted for more than 450 yards (200rushing/200passing), and 3 scores in a 41-38 victory on the biggest possible stage- Wow!

* Special thanks to Reggie "Push" (for the worst lateral attempt ever) and LenDale (for not getting 6 inches on 4th down.)
