Baltimore is in dire need of a wide receiver...
Would the 49ers even consider trading Battle, or Ziegler? And what could they get in return...how high a draft pick, or do the Ravens have a spare pass rush specialist?
Just wondering.

What could SF get from the Ravens for a WR?

I highly doubt Battle will fetch us anything higher than 6theven though im a fan of this guy. Ziegler about the same. Even then i dont want to part with them. Hill Morgan got injured early last year. We could use the depth.

IMO if we were to offer Battle, his production and health would not warrant anything more than a 6th round pick. We're better off keeping him, unless they wanna part with one of their players that would look to be a long shot to make the roster, Dwan Edwards or Brandon McKinney perhaps??

Crabtree,Jones,Bruce,Morgan and Hill aren't going anywhere, there Ravens could just wait for us to cut one of the remaining WR's and then sign them.

They could wait, but there's no guarantee's once cut he would sign with them. Trading for him would secure his rights.

but like you said, it would be for something like a 6th rounder, so it really wouldn't be big news either way.

Would you give up one of our 1st Round picks in next year's NFL Draft, and one of our WRs (Battle and/or Zeigler) for Ravens NT Haloti Ngata?
NT Haloti Ngata

I don't think they would want to wait because by the time we cut them camps could be almost over. But I don't think anyone is going to give them anything more than a 7th for Battle.

Probably have a better chance at getting Vince Wilfork.

I like Ziegler, but I don't think you'd get more than a handshake for him from any team.
Ngata??? hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhaha. Maybe if we gave them Willis they would listen. Not a chance they give him away for an unknown draft pick. Hmmm, but if we throw in Ziegler, maybe they'll throw in Suggs?!?!?!?!? Come on!
