Landry went way before Willis. One of the Matt's wrote that if Willis wasn't there, we would have drafted LSU WR Dwayne Bowe and that Niners several times tried to trade up to late teens to get Bowe.

I know Landry wasn't there, I just forgot to say if Willis wasn't there and Landry was....but thanks for the correction. And right on for pointing out the part about Bowe, I totally forgot about that.

Man just getting Willis that year was sweet, but if we got Willis and Bowe you probably would've seen me streaking on youtube!!!

Oh okay. I liked Landry coming out of college, but he has under-achieved so far. Many feel that he doesn't have the love for football. Anyway, Bowe and Willis - that would have been quite a haul. I was a huge fan of Bowe coming out of college, and really really wanted Niners to draft him. I really liked Staley too, but Bowe would have been special. Anyway, now that we have Crabtree, I'm fine with Willis and Staley.

Don't forget we have Spencer back this year. Brown, R. Smith, Clements, Spencer, Taylor, Goldson, and draft a Safety or CB.

Then we also said no big free agents. Then comes the talks with a superbowl qb.

Well as of right now we still don't have Crabtree. But what Bowe has shown, I could live with Bowe over Crabtree.

leigh bodden!! that dude is so underappreciated. he laid wood in cleveland and will resurrect his career in NE... but will be replaced eventually by the Darion Butler (im not sure if this is correct... but i know they picked a good CB) so he's probably on the outs this next FA period. let's nab him and go RT/whatever in the draft.
