There is a lot of mixed feelings about Favre coming to the Vikings, here in Northern Minnesota there are a lot of Packer haters and they want him merely to rub it in the Packers faces ...but everyone agrees another season with T-Jack would be grueling and frustrating !!!

No.

Because when he gets the majority of the reps in camp, Rosenfels and T-Jack will be rusty...and when he goes down with an inevitable arm injury, both will be even less well equipped to fill in for him.

The Vikes go 8-8 at best this year.

The Vikings get A LOT better with Favre on the team. I don't get why people care what he does. If he wants to play, let him play. What does it have to do with the 49ers? So its on ESPN a lot...who cares?

And like SD said, he's still better than most QBs in the league.

this guy sucks now, just like he did in the beginning of his career. His whole career is only impressive for 2 reasons.

1. His rare ability to never miss a start
2. His rare ability to walk the tight rope between a gun slinging TD passer vs a WTF int thrower.

While number 1 has always been true, chances of him losing this due to his age and last years troubles is pretty significant.

#2 was most evident in his prime years, albeit his prime years did last much longer than a normal QB, but his prime has been over since GB kicked him to the curb. This guy is pretty much back to his rookie season where his WTF play is more prevalent than his lucky gun slinger gains.

Without #1 and #2, he is nothing special anymore, and perhaps over rated all along

Whats the over under on his int totals this year? 22 would be my guess

He wont have to sling it so much with the Vikings? He'll kill teams on the play action and even though the Jets line was pretty good, I think the Viking line is a lot better.
