I say Hill and Battle for Marshall, or add a second day 2010 pick instead of Hill.
Just an idea what do you all think?
No way this happens.
First, Denver has Royal and Stokley. They only need one WR, so the second scrub thrown in would add no value. They would want (at a minimum) a decent starting WR so they could leave Stokley in the slot where he belongs. Nobody on our roster outside of Crabtree or (maybe) Morgan represents that value to them. Battle and/or certainly do not.
Second, they can't afford to trade their young star WR for a second day pick and a no name WR. Not in the same year they dealt Cutler b/c they couldn't get along. They will want a 1st or 2nd round pick just to keep the mob at bay.
Marshall's off field issues will certainly hurt his value and they may not get everything they want for him, but they will definitely get more than a second day pick and a no name WR for him.

No thanks! Brandon Marshall is Brandon LLoyd all over again. An overrated crybaby that will only bring this team down.

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? How can you call a WR who has had over 2500 yards recieving, 206 receptions, and 13 TD's the last 2 years OVERRATED. I am not for him coming to SF but the guy is not overated. He has great hands and is very physical. If it was not for his dumb ass ways he would be my favorite current WR along with Andre Johnson in the game.
You tell me one play that is overrated.

Marshall? We don't need em. WR is one of our best positions. Present and future. Let's talk about Peppers or Suggs, Shaun Rogers, etc. a position of need, not a position we don't.

Lol at people thinking our WR core is set. We have unproven potential in Crabtree, youth in Morgan who may suffer a sophmore slump or may not........and Hill????
And you all think we are great here. Wow. Marshall with his act together would give us an explosive offense, as all the other guys are currently no better than 2 or third receivers (including Bruce today), and they would fill those roles admirably.
Now, Marshall is a headcase. Debating whether or not it is worth putting up with his issues is a debate.
Saying we don't need him is just stupid. If you want a championship team then you need dominant players. Marshall is dominant when on. If the asking price is worth taking a shot on then we would be stupid not to. 3rd rounder definitely. 2nd, I would have to really research everything about him more thoroughly, but make no mistake he would make a dramatic improvement in the explosiveness of the offense.
Aside from Marshall though, this whole our WRs are set thing is funny as hell. Just because it's the best group we have had in a while, that isn't saying much. Marshall is without a doubt worth at least looking into by the FO.

OMG, Jason Hill and Battle for Marshall, Hill and Battle(I love him) but there no where near Marshall's level.
Plus were fine at WR finally.
I say no to trading away good players or a 1st or 2nd in 2010 for any one.
