Just FYI when I pick I am not going to grab a kicker. I am going to wait till regular season begins to drop someone. I believe I did this last year.

I have done the same in the past in a different league. No reason why you can't.

I have brought this up before but thought I would throw it out again.. makes for more strategy when it comes to free agents.... I would vote for it.
FAAB
In a Free Agents Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waivers system, each manager receives a dollar amount to place blind bids on waived players. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team's acquisition budget. If multiple managers place an equal bid on a player, tiebreak options are available as described above.
FAAB w/ Continual rolling list tiebreak
FAAB w/ Reverse order of standings tiebreak
FAAB w/ Weekly rolling standings tiebreak

Something needs to change, I'm sure last year we used reverse standings, basically if you made a half decent start you never got a waiver

I agree Rose. This is a fun way to use some strategy. You can blow your budget up early on a key guy or hold for later in the year.
