Very surprising win for me this week. Hitting really stepped it up to make up for some horrid pitching.

How I feel about Hosmer/Youkilis/Morneau

I lose by 50 and have -22 from 3 pitchers, combined, if I had plus numbers from there instead maybe, just MAYBE I beat the highest scoring team this week

Yeah I just saw that. I'm kind of out of adds for the week, so what do you want me to do? Texas isnt the most friendly park and it will be a couple of months before he really is ready to go more than 5 innings. Not that exciting.

why I didn't take him in this league, he's not worth giving up one of your 8 SP's, but in other league he's worth the stash, for now anyways

I agree. Like him more in WZ than in Dynasty.

Not proclaiming that Oswalt will pitch like a Cy Young candidate, but I think he's worth stashing here. We'll see.

lol I wish. I haven't had that much luck on the free agent wire this year. Your math is off.

And it's two-three weeks at most. Oswalt is a beast who knows how to stay in shape.

right now your top FA SP is giving you about 16 points/9IP, 6IP/game

if he only gives you one start on a given week you're giving up an average of 10pts/matchup, 20pts/matchup if he gives you 2 starts

this is a POINTS based league, you take as much as you can get, in this league Oswalt was worth monitoring, but not giving up points for what will probably be 3 weeks at best. Believe me, is not that I wasn't too quick in this league, he just wasn't worth the pickup right now
